Equipment – State of the Art

Besides the equipment used for carrying out conventional methods, our equipment includes numerous devices which enable the specific and selective determination of individual substances. To document the results of macroscopic and microscopic tests, as well as those of thin-layer chromatography, we use modern computer-aided video documentation systems. In addition, there are special installations such as our microbiological laboratory, the option of measuring radioactivity, as well as of demonstrating any irradiation of herbs, and herbal products, that may have been applied, by means of thermoluminescence. Through regular and successful participation in numerous international inter-laboratory tests and collaborative trials, the quality of our analysis is subject to continual independent checking and documentation.
