PhytoLab's membership in the German Pharmaceutical Industry Association (BPI).
In its capacity as a modern association, the BPI is a service provider which also represents the interests of its member companies. In accordance with its multifarious activities, the competence of the BPI extends over the following fields: medicine and pharmacy, law, biotechnology, politics, communication and self-medication/OTC.
Officially recognized in accordance with § 14 of the German Drug Law and accredited in accordance with EEC Directive 93/99/EEC, PhytoLab is an external testing laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment and highly qualified personnel, which specialises in the analysis of plants and plant-based products. The scientists employed by PhytoLab are dedicated members of various committees within the pharmaceutical and food industries, in trade associations and the Federal German Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM).
