Development and Validation of Effective Methods

For many contaminants, there are no official test methods available as yet. This means that different laboratories use different methods and results can vary hugely. Furthermore, residue analysis methods generally have a very high level of measurement inaccuracy (e.g. pesticide multi-methods) and have to be validated taking the matrix into consideration.

Establishing new methods

PhytoLab plays a key role in the development and establishment of methods in the food and pharmaceuticals sector. We offer methods that we have validated for certain matrix groups. We apply both official methods (such as modular pesticide multi-methods in accordance with DFG S19) and specially developed methods (such as heavy metals by means of ICP-MS, phenoxyalkanecarboxylic acids by means of LC-MS/MS).
