Mycotoxins

Because of their toxic effects on humans and animals, mycotoxins are among the most dangerous contaminants in the food and feed sector. Every year, PhytoLab analyses more than 5,000 herbal samples for mycotoxins. In addition, we have played a key role in the development and establishment of mycotoxin analysis in the pharmaceuticals sector – for instance in HPLC methods for detecting aflatoxins and ochratoxin A in the European Pharmacopoeia.

Safe results in two respects

With our specialist experience in working with complex matrices, we can analyse your products professionally and safely. We perform mycotoxin analyses following a highly selective purification process using immunoaffinity columns with HPLC fluorescence detection. We validate positive results in our laboratory using HPLC-MS/MS methods.
